A Biblical Perspective On Money
God cares about money and what we do with it (there are 100 verses in Proverbs alone and 800 in the Bible about money). The video below explores some of what God says about money. On the right, you can see some common myths about money, and how scripture speaks to those.
MYTH 1:
MONEY WILL BUY HAPPINESS
Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread.
Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you and say, ‘Who is the Lord?’ Or I may become poor and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God.
